Kerry Simon is a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America. His career has taken him from
New York to Hong Kong, Paris to Miami and London
to Las Vegas.

His career highlights include:

Kerry was a major participant in the invention of the
American fusion cooking movement and was
responsible for the resurrection
of the Edwardian
Room of New York's Plaza hotel as the "must visit"
restaurant in New York.


Kerry changed the culinary climate of Miami's South
Beach with the invention of the comfort food movement.
He developed and was executive chef of Max's South
Beach which was named one of the top ten restaurants
in America by noted food writer Jon Mariani.

Kerry developed and oversaw the opening of restaurants
in Hong Kong, Paris, New York, and London for
Jean-Georges Vongerichten's Vong international
and has been consultant to development projects
for companies such as Rain Forest Cafe.

He is currently executive chef/partner of his
signature creation Simon Kitchen and Bar
at the Hard Rock Hotel.
